Job title: Native English language teachers 

The American Language center is a leading language center in Morocco dedicated to providing high-quality language education to a diverse community of students. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, cultural enrichment, and academic growth.  As part of our ongoing mission to empower students and promote language proficiency, we are seeking highly motivated and dedicated native English language teachers. Selected candidates will be required to arrive to Morocco early January for orientation and settlement.

ALC offers a well-supported work environment and a flexible caring management. Our teachers are dedicated professionals with their students as their first interest. Teachers have access to a huge material resource room which facilitates their teaching. ALC Casablanca has recently opened a new  American Arts Center, a six floor arts and cultural building dedicated to giving back to our community and allowing many opportunities for teachers and students.

A job application to ALC Casablanca should be submitted to “c𳦰ٰܾǰdz.ǰ” and should include the following (minimum):

  • A CV/resume in PDF format;
  • A letter in PDF format telling us about yourself, including why you would like to teach at the ALC and live in Morocco.
  • A scan of the passport from the photo page

    Highly competitive applications will also include:
  • Letters of reference (university and/or job references, including your last job)
  • A scanned JPEG or PDF copy of your university diploma(s) and TESOL/TEFL certificate. (You may include copies of Certificates of Attendance for workshops and seminars.

  • Native English speakers.
  • Age 22-55. By Moroccan law, we are unable to employ teachers who are 60 years or above in age.
  • Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree and the CELTA or a competitive equivalent.
  • Teaching experience, although not strictly essential as new teachers receive training and guidance.
  • Teach a minimum of 18 hours per week during our main terms.
  • Teach adults, kids or juniors.
  • Available to teach on weekday afternoons, evenings and on weekends.  
  • Participate in ALC clubs, activities and other projects when appropriate.
